Sana Sites was built around Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This means that all pages are rendered in a way that search engines like Google can easily read the information and links to related pages. Of course, meta information like description, keywords and title can be maintained. But there is more. Sana's Site Structure, the folder list whcih defines the site map, is used to get hold on the URL, to manage the navigation structure and to define visibility of a page.

URL management allows for creating URL's which contain the most important keywords, needed to be found on the World Wide Web. When using Sana's Flex Data system, all manageable content which is part of Flash can also be published in a 'SEO-friendly' way. This results in Flash web sites which finally can be indexed by Google as well.

Furthermore, Sana warns when someone changes the URL or moves a page within the site map. Optionally, redirects or 'page moved' indicators can be added as well.
