Orders are processed using Dynamics’ business logic; the catalogue is generated using the item and category structure of Dynamics.

The app was developed to fully adopt the touch interaction, to browse the catalogue and to place orders. Furthermore, using an app enables the possibility to use device specific hardware like the camera to scan barcodes, or the GPS input to determine at which customer you are.*

For instant ordering and stock info, an internet connection is required. When off-line, the app will remain working, to fully support the sales process in times you need it.

The app supports the ordering lists which are familiar in Sana Commerce. Based on product sets – which are filters of any kind on your item database – any combination of items can be put together in lists, from where ordering can be done quick and easy. This way, articles which need extra attention, need to be sold quickly or have a special promotion can be pushed or brought under the attention of your sales reps.
The Sana Commerce back-office is extended with the options to manage the iPad's content, to manage the devices and product sets required for the order lists.

The Quick Order functionality will be highly valuated by sales agents. In general, the Sana Mobile Sales Assistant app will bring the same representation function as the Sana Commerce web shop, which allows sales agents to place orders for their customers, or to check pending orders or their order history.
