Sana Software, an ISV and a leading provider of certified e-Commerce solutions for Microsoft Dynamics, proudly announces Sana Commerce Mobile, the app for real-time mobile order taking on a tablet or smart phone, which is fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and AX.

The Sana Commerce app for Apple iOS supports sales agents while they are where the business is: at their customers. The app was built around the user needs for quick ordering and getting insights of customers' pending orders and order history.

The Sana Commerce app hooks directly in to the Sana Commerce framework. This means that it automatically leverages the advantages of the real-time interfaces with Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX. While being on the road, sales agents benefit from customer specific prices and up-to-date stock information. Orders are directly processed and discounts are calculated real-time by Dynamics, from within the app.

Using a tablet or smartphone with its intuitive multi touch interface, the Sana Commerce app provides an easy entry to the sales supporting capabilities of the Sana Commerce B2B shop. Furthermore, using an app provides the flexibility to use device specific hardware like the camera to scan barcodes or the GPS sensor to automatically select the customer. Offline capabilities will be available as well.

The app will be released for Apple iOS first in September 2011, meaning that orders can be managed from the iPad. Later, other mobile platforms will be supported as well. A working prototype will be shown at Convergence USA 2011 in Atlanta (April), Directions EMEA 2011 in Berlin (May) and during the Dutch Dynamics Experience (April).
