Sana Software announces Sana Commerce for AX, the integrated web shop for Microsoft Dynamics AX

Sana Software, an ISV and a leading provider of certified e-commerce solutions for Microsoft Dynamics, is proud to announce the extension of their product portfolio with ‘Sana Commerce for AX’, the integrated web shop for Microsoft Dynamics AX.

This extension is the next step in achieving our goal of becoming the e-Commerce standard for Microsoft Dynamics. “We receive lots of requests to make our web shop available for AX as well”, says Arno Ham, product manager of Sana Commerce. “The unique combination of simple and accessible technology for our partners, the non-redundant management of business logic and information in Dynamics, and the fact that the fully featured Starter Site can be up and running within days makes Sana Commerce the perfect match for Dynamics AX as well”.

The tight interface with Dynamics AX forms the heart of the solution. The Sana code within AX combined with the Dynamics AX web services ensures flawless real-time and customer specific exchange of information. All existing Sana Commerce features are now available for AX; B2B and B2C support, sales agents who can login and represent their customers and the Sana payment gateway for secure and reliable online payments, to mention a few. If needed, the Sana Commerce Provider can be used as well, to setup a web shop which runs stand-alone, exchanging data with AX on a scheduled interval.

For partners reselling both AX and NAV, Sana Commerce means one single web technology for both platforms. Sana Commerce’s fully documented SDK allows full flexibility in extending and customizing the Sana web shop. Standard implementations can be done as well - the web based Back Office for the Starter Site allows partners and end-users to simply adjust and configure the shop, or to style the site so that it conforms to the customer’s corporate identity requirements.

Sana Commerce for AX will be released and shipped to our partners in September 2011. A working prototype will be shown at Convergence USA 2011 in Atlanta.
