Sana Software and bureau42 form an alliance

Sana Software, the development branch of the Dutch internet company ISM eCompany, has found its first partner to offer a dedicated assortment of internally developed software products to the European market. The German E-Learning Company bureau42 will use Sana’s Software to offer innovative eLearning solutions.

Christiaan de Visser, International Business Development Manager for Sana states: “Sana is a software supplier which has come out of ISM eCompany after three years of development from our dedicated team. Sana however has been a well-known partner for all commerce and learning solutions of ISM eCompany for the last eight years.” In the Netherlands ISM eCompany is the implementation partner for all Sana platforms. “We are now looking for other European partners who want to use our innovative solutions”, De Visser states enthusiastically.

Software tools

The general idea is to gradually expand into the European market. “We have a department of 30 people who are working on product development full-time”, De Visser continues. Now that the software solutions have been fully developed Sana aims at finding European implementation partners. “We are looking for partners who want to service their local markets with our internet solutions and who are looking for new software tools to answer their client’s demands.”

bureau42 GmbH

The German company bureau42 is the first party to see the added value of using Sana Software. Their first choice is Sana’s Learning Portal. De Visser offers an insight into this solution: “We have a specialist branch that only works on offering solid solutions for e-Learning. One of our innovative products for managing online courses is the Sana Learning Portal. A centralized online platform for sharing knowledge, distributing courses and monitoring results.”

Linking research and reality

Managing Directors Uwe Fischer and Dr. Roland Klemke of bureau42 tell more about their company. “bureau42 was founded in 2002 as a spin-off of the Frauenhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology in the town of Sankt Augustin. In January of 2006 we became a daughter of Humance AG and we are now based in Cologne. The idea behind bureau42 is to put a link between research and reality.

“Besides this we strive for an integration of organizational processes, innovative technologies and solutions”, Fischer and Klemke continue. “To achieve these goals we offer consulting and software products for e-learning and competence management. With our expertise in technology for competence management, learning management and support management we support our clients with the development of targeted content productions for their companies. Products and technology are only part of the equation. In combination with our competent team we offer a total solution. Customers can rely on us for the production of professional Learning content. We offer individual development and Learning solutions.”

Getting to know ISM

“Earlier this year Christiaan de Visser came to bureau42 and showed us the solutions of ISM eCompany. We decided to see if we could start cooperation on these solutions for e-learning and get to know the tools ISM eCompany offers.” They both look towards the future with confidence. “We will first look for ways to evaluate the market and see where we can offer added value.”
