Sana's payment gateway and standard connectors for PayPal and Authorize.net 

When setting up a web store for consumers, arranging an online payment service is a critical step. Next to the fact that payment should be secure, the technical provision should be reliable and robust. As a merchant, you would like to have full freedom in selecting a Payment Service Provider (PSP) who delivers the payment services fitting best with your shop’s concept. On its turn, the PSP connects to credit card companies like Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX and takes care of authorizing and capturing the payments.

Next to this, the payment moment while checking out delivers a serious drop-out chance by means of shop conversion. Sana’s check-out process was designed using many studies in shopping behavior, reducing the chance of canceling the order process and therefore boosting the shop’s conversion rate.

Sana Commerce was built with the experiences of many merchants in the back of our heads. Therefore, Sana is delivered with a ‘payment gateway’. This gateway is a uniform extension point, to connect PSPs easily and seamlessly. We deliver a (growing) number of standard, of-the-shelve connectors for leading PSPs. Sana supports both the Eureopean capturing sequence (capture before order is taken into process)  as the American capturing sequence (capture only after shipment).

Note that other PSPs can be connected as well, using Sana’s payment gateway and the Sana .NET SDK. Sana releases new payment add-ons in between releases of the Sana Commerce product, which will be provided to our partners in the Sana Community.
