Sana uses Dynamics AX business logics

Sana Commerce benefits from a web service base and bi-directional real-time e-Commerce interface with Dynamics AX. This interface is real-time and perfectly suitable for B2B web stores. In this configuration, Sana simply uses for example, the pricing calculations which are already available in your AX system, instantly. Sana does not simply hook on to the web services, Sana code is installed within AX, to ensure close cooperation with AX. Sana Commerce AX is available for Dynamics AX 4 and Dynamics AX 5.

Sana Commerce will be available for Dynamics AX 2012 and from Q1 2012.

B2C store front - online retail

If you do not need real-time pricing and inventory in your web shop, the Sana Commerce  Provider allows for a stand-alone B2C e-Commerce web shop for Axpata, which synchronizes with Dynamics AX as often as you like. In this situation, Sana fully uses its own business logics, supports high amounts of traffic and may be used to connect to other ERP systems as well. Together with Sana's B2C features, this setup guarantees a succesful web shop.

B2B Sales Portal

Sana can be setup as Sales Portal for AX as well, support sales agents while on the road. The real-time AX e-commerce interface ensures accurate information on customer specfic prices, stock and orde history. Within the web portal for AX, the sales rep can easily impersonate a customer, or create prospects while visiting a new customer, and create a quote. Quick ordering and custom ordering lists complete Sana's B2B proposition.

With the Starter Site, an e-Commerce site for Dynamics AX can be implemented within a few days. For optimal support of the merchant’s web store wishes, Sana’s .NET 4 Axapta e-Commerce Software Development Kit (SDK) allows any customization or extension of the online store on top of Axapta.
